Ryan's hunt spanned a Sunday, so I drove up with the boys on Saturday afternoon. We stayed in a hotel that night and went to a little branch that meets near the canyon. We stopped by the Grand Canyon to take a look, and this is what we saw. It looked like someone had dumped fog right into the canyon! Every now and then a little would blow off the top and you could see just the tip of  the rim.

Thanksgiving

This year Ryan got drawn for Elk, so he was gone hinting for Thanksgiving. The boys and I had lunch at the Payne's with much of the Moody family. Then, we went over to the Martinsen's for even more pie!

Future missionaries (minus Nolan) & Ryan riding bikes to church. 

 Yard work with Dairy Queen after. Caleb is cutting back the nasty sticker bush and the 

others are moving river rock in preparation for planting grass!

Ryan replaced the radiator on the van. He has saved us tons of money over the years by doing his own repairs. Thanks Google & YouTube! 

Caleb was his assistant and kept him entertained with podcasts of Jim Gaffigan.

5th Grade Patriotic Concert

Nolan takes after his mom. He loves a hot bubble bath.

Marcus Plays Soccer

Marcus was able to play with a group of 20 boys from our ward and neighborhood. 

Our Bishop (Taylor) started the team, so that it would be cheap and fun for the boys. 

The parents rotated being coaches at the games and practices. 

Yearly Portraits

I always opt out of buying the school pictures and take my own. This year I took them at the Orange Patch in Mesa, since I was taking the Scoresby's there that day too. Man, I've got some handsome boys!
