Super Star

Eli was chosen as his classes' super star this week. One of the privledges he gets, is to bring home the class pet. They were asked to take pictures of activities with the pet. We didn't really do anything exciting that weekend, but Eli thought of some creative ideas nonetheless.

Eight is Great!

Our sweet little Eli is turning 8! He has been so anxious to turn 8 for soo long. The other day he said, "I can't wait until I turn 8.!" So, I asked him what he was most excited about... being baptized, cub scouts... His answer, "Well Caleb got to start wearing deodorant when he turned 8."
Love this kid. He has a sensitive soul and is easily able to perceive how those around him are feeling.

Eli got his wish of a football themed birhtday party. It could not have been easier. We played a game of flag football, ate cake and ice cream, and opened presents.

Bartlett Lake

It was an overcast, chilly MLK Day for us. We decided to scope out a new spot. Ryan got a dutch oven for Christmas (from his Mom's garage) and finally got the chance to try it out. He made an awesome pineapple upside down cake!

Water in the Desert

We get pretty excited about water around here. Marcus, Nolan & I were outside waiting for C & E to get home from school, when we noticed water running down our street. I think someone's sprinkler cap had shot off. They were all so pumped up to ride in the little trickle of water! Two year old Nolan is crazy fearless on the scooter. He has a toddler sized one, but refuses to use it. He likes the big boys'.
