Cheeseheads

Ryan had to go to a seminar in Madison, WI. Thanks to my sister and Grandma Johnson, I was able to go with him for a few days. It was fun to go somewhere I'd never seen before. Madison is a beautiful city with Lake Mendota on the north and another lake on the south. Ryan went to class all day, so I had lots of time to just relax. I went jogging, walked to the capital building, did some shopping and read a book, The Color of Water. Or, was it Peace Like a River? I can't remember, but both are good.
Everyday, Ryan and I would meet for lunch and then go out for dinner. One afternoon, we took a sailing lesson.

Happy 34th!

I had a great birthday this year. The boys all made me really nice cards, Ryan made me dinner and strawberry shortcake and I got a staple gun! I've been wanting one of those for a long time now.

Nolan is One

Nolan's First Haircut

So, it didn't actually go really well. I should have had help when attempting to cut his hair, but he was growing a tail. That's just not acceptable.

Caleb's a Wolf!

Caleb worked so hard this year completing the requirements to earn his Wolf badge. I loved to see him so self motivated. The ceremony was really fun too. Caleb was very brave and drank down wolf's blood!

Another Trip to Oak Creek Canyon

The water was pretty cold, but everyone managed to get a little swimming in.
