Nolan's First Haircut

So, it didn't actually go really well. I should have had help when attempting to cut his hair, but he was growing a tail. That's just not acceptable.

Caleb's a Wolf!

Caleb worked so hard this year completing the requirements to earn his Wolf badge. I loved to see him so self motivated. The ceremony was really fun too. Caleb was very brave and drank down wolf's blood!

Mom's Birthday

We decided to change it up a bit this year and take Mom out for her birthday. We had some delicious burgers and went to the movies to see "The Help."

Nolan Walks

This boy has been toddling around for a few weeks now, but still looks like a little drunken sailor wherever he goes!

A snack for Cus

This is how I found Cus one morning after I got out of the shower. I guess one apple just wasn't enough!

Caleb's 9th Bday

Caleb decided (with a little help from us) that it would be fun to go to Oceanside and celebrate his 9th birthday there. My kids always want "sugar cereal", so their bday is the day they get to eat whatever they want for breakfast!

That afternoon, we went to La Jolla cove for for a birthday celebration and snorkeling.

Ryan and I hired a babysitter from our old ward and went out. We first went to the beach where I read an awesome book, Unbroken, and Ryan did some paddleboarding. Then, we went out for some Japanese food.

Annie and Rob happened to be in Oceanside the same weekend for Rob's sprint triathlon. So, they hung out with us a bit at the McBride's house. Here's Ryan playing guitar to Halle and Roen.
