Halloween

Here we are on Halloween night trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. We had Mr. Incredible, Superman/Baby, a mechanic, a Tongan riding a longboard, Luke Skywalker, and Ol' Man Potter.

Carvin' Time

This year Ryan decided to make a pumpkin pie from scratch! So, while the kids and I were busy carving jack-o-lanterns, Ryan began the process of making pumpkin puree.

Caleb's Piano Recital

This is Caleb's 2nd year taking piano lessons. They have a concert during the week of Halloween. The students dress up in their costumes and play spooky numbers. Caleb was sooo excited to play "Hedwig's Theme" from the Harry Potter movie.

San Juan River Rafting Trip

A guy that works with Ryan at CAP, organized a group to float a portion of the San Juan River. Ryan took Caleb and his friend Jeremy went too. Caleb is in his element with stuff like this. So glad he likes the outdoors and has a dad that loves it too! They saw petroglyphs, a rattlesnake, part of a Mormon Pioneer trail and lots of other stuff.

Scoresby Cabin

While Ryan & Caleb were off on their rafting trip, Annie was nice enough to invite us to stay at their cabin. The boys and I had a good time, enjoying the nice weather and fun cousins.

Happy 35th!

We had a quick birthday celebration in between homework, baseball games and church meetings.
I learned to make Grandma Cooper's chocolate pie per Ryan's request.
Wow, it was good! Definitely a recipe that needs to be passed down.

One of Sarah's mission companions was getting married in Utah, so mom, Annie and I came along for a relaxing 2 days in Provo. It was fun to see Rob, Jami, Olivia & Brooklyn, go shoe shopping and eat some good grub!
