Baby of Many Names

When Ryan called his good friend Boyd from the hospital to tell him Marcus had been born, he immediately nicknamed him "Big 'Cus."

The name has stuck and evolved.
From Big 'Cus, to...

'Lil Cus, to...

Custer, to...

General Custer, to...

General, to...

Sir Cus-a-lot, to...

Custer-o-ni! (just to name a few)

I made Marcus let Nolan have a turn playing Angry Birds...

M: "That's just why I don't like babies."

Me: "You used to be a baby too."

M: "Yeah, that's why when I was a baby, I just didn't like myself."

Mom, how old are you?

Whoa! That's a lot of points!

Lately Marcus' tummy dictates his life...

"My tummy just wants to watch a movie right now."

"My tummy doesn't want to sleep right now."

"My tummy just doesn't like church today."

"My tummy doesn't want Nolan to play with my toys!"

"It's just like my tummy says, yes, I want another video game."

When he's happy:

"I love you mom."

"You're da best mom in the whole world, ever!"

"You're a cool dude mom too."

"Fanks mom. You're da best."

When he's mad:

"You're not da best mom ever!"

"It's just like, you make me mad!"

"It's just like, I don't want to do what you say anymore!"

"You're not awesome anymore!"

Jesus just created me really nice!... but he made naughty people too. hmmm.
