Every morning they get themselves dressed,
brush their ownteeth,
clean up breakfast
and even help pack lunches.
At night they bathe themselves,
brush their own teeth,
get pjs on,
etc...
Who am I to be picky about matching clothing or highwaters?

My definition of survival mode:
Children are clean, clothed and fed daily...everything beyond that is extra. You're doing great! And from your list I do believe there have been some extra things going on - Brushing teeth TWICE a day, packing lunches, cleaning up - these are all considered extras while in survival mode - better have a bowl of ice cream tonight to celebrate!!!! More Dove Ice Cream bars for Monday :)
Lovies, Mom
Um... my kids kind of look like that all the time. Shameful, I know. I have to choose my battles, though. :)
I hope you're doing OK.
april, this post is hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!! I totally agree with your mom..brushing teeth is a huge bonus in times like these.
hahaha! That's great! Ryan would get dressed like that and insist on going to preschool that way at the beginning of the year, and I didn't have the "bedrest" excuse to explain it! So Amy and I would just laugh every morning when I dropped him off. :)
